Typism 500k Artwork Celebration

Over the last few weeks, we've been overwhelmed with your support and kind words as we've celebrated reaching 500k users of our #typism hashtag and 100k followers on our Instagram page. 

We set you all a challenge to recreate the Typism logo in whatever style you liked! Well, you have all impressed us so much with nearly 400 incredible artworks and counting! With so many beautiful and creative outcomes, we wanted to highlight some of our favourites!

This is one of those things that took me way longer than I care to admit. • Butttt in honor of celebrating #typism500k , how appropriate is it to draw Typism letter balloons. 🤪 • my process video is basically pointless because it was too long at normal speed and too fast to process anything when it’s sped up in order to fit. Congratulations to my friends at @Typism on reaching 100k followers and 500k tags! Founder, @dominique_falla, has been a big supporter of my work since the very beginning of my freelance practice 6ish years ago, and as such I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Typism team on multiple projects including; Typism book features, conference speaking, a Back at Cha vendor stall, Brief Brief mail outs, hosting an online workshop for the Typism Skills Summit (anddd another top secret project coming up soon...) I’m proud to have been associated with the Typism brand on these occasions, but prouder still to feel part of the international type community fostered online (which often feels more like our own lettering family). So thanks, Typism for continuing to bring us all together!✨😘 (Also credit due to fellow lettering artist @raymawst whose downloadable blackletter guide sheets formed helpful practice/ reference for this piece).
