New TypeWknd Conference

There's a new type-loving kid on the block and we can't wait to introduce you! TypeWknd is a brand-new, online-only conference focusing on typography, lettering, fonts, design, and business!

This new conference is for type-curious students to experienced industry experts! Typewknd is taking place across 4 days, September 24–27 and features:

• 72 Talks and 3 Panel discussions, crafted by presenters from around the world
• Live Q&A sessions with presenters after each talk
• 11 Workshops with limited class sizes, to help you build and refine skills
• EduXType, a virtual lounge for students and teachers to discuss design education
• Chancho Va, a community design exercise to help you stretch your creative muscles

There's an amazing lineup of international presenters including our good friend and Typism speaker alumni Wayne Thompson! Wayne is both speaking and running workshops over the weekend. His sessions are:

• Thursday 24 Sept at 10pm AEST—Workshop: Sign Casuals with Brushpen
• Friday 25 Sept at 8am AEST—How do you design your country's national font? Designing ABCSans.
• Saturday 26 Sept at 6:30am AEST—Wood Type is Good Type
