International Women's Day 2022

For the third year in a row, we are excited to be collaborating with International Women's Day (IWD) 2022 and launching our yearly lettering challenge. The 2022 theme is #BreakTheBias and it's all about having the awareness and courage to spot and call out gender inequity.

Imagine a gender-equal world.
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women's equality.
Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
We continue to be so inspired by the amazing work created by you the Typism Community over the last couple of years, so we're collaborating with IWD again to invite female lettering artists to show their support to the IWD Women Creatives Mission by creating an artwork that highlights this year's new campaign theme 'Break the Bias'.

Challenge Details
A selection of impactful entries and their creators will be featured on the International Women's Day website and IWD and Typism social media channels throughout the year, however, we will be showcasing some of our favourites on International Women's Day, Tuesday, 8 March 2022 so post your work anytime before the end of February for a chance to be featured.Female lettering artists worldwide—novice or experienced—are invited to post their lettering creations on Instagram with the aim of showing solidarity in calling on communities to help challenge gender inequality and #BreakTheBias.
To participate in the IWDTypism Challenge, post your Break The Bias lettering on Instagram along with the hashtags:
#IWDtypism#BreakTheBias#IWD2022
