International Women’s Day 2024

We are excited to collaborate again with International Women’s Day (IWD) for the fifth year and launch our yearly lettering challenge.
This year is even more exciting because Typism has been named an official IWD 2024 Partner.
The 2024 IWD theme is #InspireInclusion and it’s a timely and relevant call to action and a statement of hope and inspiration.
Imagine a gender-equal world.
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together, we can take action to drive gender parity.
Collectively, we can all #InspireInclusion.

We continue to be so inspired by the amazing work created by you, the Typism Community, over the past five years, so we are collaborating with IWD again to invite lettering artists to show their support for the IWD Women Creatives Mission by creating artwork that highlights this year’s new campaign theme ‘Inspire Inclusion’.
Challenge Details
A selection of impactful entries and their creators will be featured on the International Women’s Day website and IWD and Typism social media channels throughout the year; however, we will showcase some of our favourites on International Women’s Day, Friday, 8 March 2024, so post your work anytime before the end of February if you want to be featured.Lettering artists worldwide—novice or experienced—are invited to post their lettering creations on Instagram with the aim of showing solidarity in calling on communities to help challenge gender inequality and #InspireInclusion.
